Bio

Sarah Jane, Sarah or SJ is a director, dramaturg and arts administrator based between London and NYC. She is currently developing multiple new plays and musicals for UK and international stages.

Highlights include: director of smash hit SPIN at the Edinburgh Fringe and Arcola Theatre, James and the Giant Peach at Barrington Stage Company, Spring Awakening at the John W. Engeman Theatre, Singin' in the Rain at the Ngau Chi Wan Centre (Hong Kong), West End and International assistant director to Jonathan O'Boyle on The Last Five Years.

She served as Literary Associate to HighTide, New Musical Fellow for National Alliance for Musical Theatre and SDCF Observer to Peter Flynn at the City Theatre, Pittsburgh. She holds an MFA in theatre Directing with distinction from Birkbeck University of London and trained at Ithaca College and the Moscow Art Theatre.
